Apollo is the sweetest baby horse we have met!
He retired from the track due to a slab fracture in his right knee and is currently healing on complete stall rest
Normally a young OTTB straight of the track would be higher than a kite, but he is a happy guy in his stall
He has no stable vices and doesn't require any medication or sedative and is so well mannered
We are currently taking him out of his stall to clean it each day and putting him back an he stands perfectly still tied up
He loves to be loved on by people and seems very happy that his racing career has ended.
He also stands perfectly to be bathed and like to hand graze
Trailers perfectly and loaded well for us at the track
Not a mean bone in his body and has the cutest personality and temperament.
He is doing well barefoot and is up to date on wormer, vaccinations, and farrier.
He is currently on complete stall rest for 2 more months at which point we will re-evaluate his knee
After the break has healed he should not have any ongoing issues.
