Red Roan Quarter Horse Gelding
Bear is the epitome of Chunky All Around Western Horse
He is patient, kind, and just wants to please.
He has fantastic ground manners and will stand tied or under saddle all day long!
He could go in so many directions from trails, to working cattle, roping, reining, and barrel racing
Has been used on a working ranch with previous owners
In the arena- he has a nice level headed walk, cute jog, takes his leads and lopes around nice, one hand neck rein, stops and backs up
Will trail ride anywhere! Crosses water, logs, rough terrain, goes up and down hills etc.
Has been hauled to a couple ropings and used to pen back calves and steers
Easy to handle, gentle, stands for the farrier and veterinarian, bathes, hauls, is good stalled or in the pasture with other horses
Rides great with in a group setting or out alone
Goes well in a bit with a tie down
He responds beautifully in a bitless bridle and there is zero need for a bit with him on trails
He is very responsive and will sit down and turn on a dime when asked
As he is so responsive to your aids and move quickly off of your aids.
He is not spooky, has never bucked, reared, bolted, kicked, or bitten
He loads in a trailer perfectly and is great in new environments.
He would be happy to hang out at shows and events
Goes over trot poles and has also been ridden English and Bareback
He is an easy keeper and stocky enough for anyone to ride
He is the same horse no matter which day you take him out of the pasture
He is up to date on vaccines, coggins, farrier, teeth floating, and wormer.
Bear is a wonderful boy who will flourish in any direction you take him!
