BlackJack is a spectacular little all around guy.
He has impeccable ground manners and stands very nicely for grooming, bathing, fly spray, the farrier, you name it!
He can be ridden English, Western, or Bareback.
He would make a fantastic games horse, dressage mount, jumping , barrels, poles and western games!
He is a more forward ride and has three very comfortable gaits.
He doesn't appear to be gaited in any way but is a swifter mover so someone who is comfortable with a good speed would love him!
Naturally collected and very floaty and is very responsive to your aids.
Needs a rider who is quite and has good leg control as he will go when you ask him to.
Not spooky or mean in any way and has never done anything remotly naughty to us.
Loves liberty work and loves to be with people and stay very connected.
He goes off of a simple cluck voice command and has a very soft mouth.
You would never have to kick him or use any force to get him to go.
Stands perfectly for mounting and knows how to one hand neck rein, spin, and back easily.
He has no vices, and trailers perfectly
His previous family used him for trail riding and as an unmounted therapy horse for disabled veterans.
He is an easy keeper and has a forage based diet and has been barefoot forever.
He can be stalled our out in a field and is easy to catch.
He is up to date on wormer, floating, coggins, vaccinations, and farrier.
He has no known history of injury, founder, lameness, or medical issues.
He is not on any supplements or maintenance.
