Bugsy is such a sweet teddy bear of a gelding who is looking for his perfect match!
Bugsy was an auction save who narrowly avoided the kill buyer and will be forever safe now.
He is not a mean horse in any way and is very sweet and wants to please you.
When he came into our program he was quite head shy and lacked confidence with leaving the heard.
We put him into our professional training program and he has truly excelled.
He is now toting around 12 year old advanced beginners in riding lessons!
He stands well to be groomed and tacked and sprayed with fly sprays and shiny spray.
He is great around dogs and children and hasn't tried to kick or bite or done anything remotely mean ever.
He has quite a big overbite so putting the bit in his mouth takes a little finesse but he's not bad about it.
He is a very easy keeper on just grass hay in a slow feed hay net.
He likes to take a nap mid day in the sunshine and does great outside.
He can be turned out with geldings, mares, ponies, minis, and mules, or also stalled and does not have any stable vices.
Bugsy is more whoa than go in the arena and does well with gentle encouragement.
He improves with every ride and we think he would make a fantastic trail horse and enjoy being outside of the arena a bit more.
He can be ridden English or Western and is learning to neck rein.
He prefers lighter contact and we believe he could be ridden bitless soon too.
He is not spooky at all and doesn't even notice loud noises and scary things.
He is barefoot, has good feet and has no history of lameness or founder or any heath issues.
He is up to date on their vaccines, coggins, worming, dental floating, and farrier care.
He is not on any supplements or maintenance.
He loads perfectly in the trailer and stands tied and does not pull back.
