Quarter Horse Gelding
Cisco is a gorgeous chunky monkey and the epitome of an easy keeper!
He has a lovely conformation and a wonderful temperament
He came to us via our Shelter Transfer Program with Equine Collective.
He stands very nicely to be groomed, sprayed, tacked and bathed
He is a more whoa than go kind of boy but we are working on his go button in training.
He actually does beautiful liberty work and has a gorgeous canter.
Can be ridden Western, English, Bareback, and bitless or bitted.
His is a very comfy ride and while losing weight and gaining muscle in training, we have used a stick pad liner to prevent the saddle from slipping.
He would love to be a trail horse or pleasure horse for someone. Loads perfectly and would hit the trails tomorrow.
In the arena he needs a calm and confident rider who won't let him get away with not going forward.
He goes over trot poles and apparently even jumped a small cross rail at one time.
He can be out in the pasture with geldings and mares but tends to guard the mares.
We have him in a stall and individual turnout and he has done very well.
He is a clean keeper and always poops in the same spot too!
He always comes up to you to catch him and loves attention from people. He just wants to please you.
He has no stable vices and he trailered very well and loaded up right away for us.
He is currently barefoot but we are using boots for him on harder ground as he does have thin soles.
He is not on any supplements, medication, or maintenance.
He is up to date on wormer, coggins, vaccinations, and farrier.
He is ready to be your number one guy and hit the trails tomorrow!
We just adore this chunky love bug!
His professional training will continue until he is adopted.
Adoption fee: $3,500
