Country Cool is a lovely gelding with wonderful ground manners!
He has a lovely conformation and a wonderful temperament
Cool raced until 2021 and was listed with CANTER Chicago.
From there he was purchased by a student at the University of Findlay who restarted him.
At that time it was found he has mild arthritis in his right front and right hind.
He will require joint injections/ maintenance if wanting to have a jumping career.
He then went on to a pleasure/ trail riding home and was successfully ridden all over, down the road, and on trails.
We would love to see him go on to a flat riding career or low level jumping.
We think he would excel a as a barrel racing horse, dressage horse, pleasure and low level jumper.
Under saddle he would need an intermediate level rider as he has faster movements and is more go than whoa.
He takes care of his rider and is not spooky at all, but could use work on bending and flexing.
He stands very nicely to be groomed, tacked, and bathed
He does great on the lunge line and has been worked in a basic snaffle.
He was ridden by a 14 year old intermediate rider and she really enjoyed her ride on him.
He hasn't shown any signs of bucking, rearing, bolting kicking, or anything remotely naughty.
No need to lunge him before you ride, he is the same boy everyday, you can just hop on and go.
He is currently in a stall and individual paddock and doesn't have any stable vices.
He would do well in a pasture boarding to avoid stiffness from his arthritis.
He is currently barefoot but we are using boots for him on harder ground or could be shod in front.
He is not on any supplements, medication, or maintenance at this time, but may need joint injections in the future.
He is up to date on wormer, coggins, vaccinations, teeth floating and farrier.
