Jasper is the sweetest boy and a joy to be around!
He has a quiet, calm, and intelligent demeanor that is truly one of a kind for a 6 year old
He has a lovely smaller, compact, sport horse conformation.
He only raced one time on the track and didn't show any promise, so was retired.
He retired sound, free of any injuries, and lameness.
He lunges really well and has very balanced gaits
He has a soft mouth and just requires a basic snaffle bit
He stands very nicely to be groomed, tacked, and bathed.
Stands perfectly straight tied and also in crossties
He is easy to catch in the pasture and has zero vices
Goes over trot poles no problem and stands well to be mounted at the mounting block.
When free jumped he was calm and relaxed and we think he would gain confidence with a rider
Given training we think he could be a fantastic eventer, fox hunter, hunter/ jumper, dressage horse, you name it
Under saddle he has a very calm personality and will move out nicely when asked.
He has three uphill gaits and loves to learn and have a job.
He has been ridden Western and English and does great at both.
He is not silly or spooky in any way and doesn't have a mean bone in his body
He has very balanced gaits and is able to pick up the correct canter leads well
He is currently out in the pasture 24/7 with geldings and mares and is about the middle of the pack
He will have been kept in a stall at the track for most of his life and he acclimated to pasture life right away.
He loaded up right away for us in the trailer.
Once loaded he was a little impatient to get going but once we were rolling he settled down.
He is doing well barefoot and has good feet so, could remain unshod.
He is up to date on wormer, coggins, vaccinations, and farrier.
He has no known history of injury, lameness, or medical issues.
He is not on any supplements or maintenance.
He is currently available as a fantastic prospect.
