Mocha
15 Yrs Old
Un-raced Thoroughbred Mare
15.3 hh
Mocha is a lovely all-around mare without any of the racetrack baggage.
We know Mocha was a broodmare in a previous life but never raced herself as she is not tattooed.
She has no known injuries or lameness.
She is out on pasture currently 24/7 with mares, geldings, and mini horses
She has no vices and can also be stalled as well.
She is in the middle/lower end of the pack and while she will get her food, she can be a little timid.
She is a lovely mover and goes over trot poles very carefully and is very balanced through turns.
She can be ridden English or Western and would be perfect for an advanced beginner on up.
She does have a faster pace to her but does not run away with you.
She hasn’t had much training post track so could use work on learning to bend, flex, and balance in an arena.
She would be great at trails, pleasure riding, barrels, jumpers, dressage, fox hunting, western dressage, she could do it all.
She has also been ridden Bitless and was perfect.
We have taken her on a trail ride by herself and she did great!
She is very calm and not spooky at all. She have never done anything remotely mean.
She loads in a trailer perfectly and ties well.
She can sometimes get a little impatient and paw but doesn't pull back.
To ride she is soft in the mouth, is responsive to leg aids and rides in a basic snaffle.
She is barefoot and would not need shoes if on soft ground.
She is good for grooming, spraying, bathing, and gentle on the lunge line.
Up to date on vaccinations, farrier, wormer, and Coggins.
She is not on any supplements or medication.
She has had no know injuries or lameness.
She has a fantastic temperament and will make a wonderful family horse for someone.
Rehoming fee: $3,000
