Nelly
APHA Registered - Skip N Nellie
Paint Mare
15 hh
20 yrs old
Nelly is the sweetest Unicorn around!
She has fantastic ground manners and is always the first one to come up to you in the field.
She can be ridden English or Western and loves Trail riding
We think she would make a fantastic Fox Hunting mount!
Great with dogs and is not a spooky or flighty horse
She has most of her experience on trails and will go through and over anything
She will literally walk all day long on the trail and is big enough to carry an adult rider
She needs a little more work in an arena setting with bending, flexing and circles as she rides very straight.
One of the best ground manners we have seen, for grooming, bathing, and the farrier
Ties perfectly and will stand for hours
She has been ridden extensively all over the Shawnee
She would be suitable for a beginner on up on the trails and just requires a little more guidance in an arena.
Zero issues with trailer loading, fly spray, and no stable vices
She has three lovely gaits and no soundness issues and requires zero maintenance
Rides easily in a basic snaffle bit and has a soft gentle mouth
She is an easy keeper who does well on just hay, grass, and a little grain
Up to date on vaccines, coggins, farrier, teeth floating, and wormer
She is out in a pasture 24/7 with mares, geldings, and ponies and also does well in a stall
Adoption fee: $2,500
