JC: Orbatron
6 Yrs Old
Kentucky Bred OTTB Gelding
16hh
His Sire is the famous Kentucky Derby Winner, ORB!
Orbie has the sweetest puppy dog personality around!
He has one of the best brains for a youngster.
He is an in your pocket kind of guy who just likes to please you.
He reminds me a lot of my personal horse and just likes to be around humans.
He is playful, sweet, and a very gentle soul
He is trained as a hunter/jumper and was going to be used as an eventing mount but was too slow.
He has previously been started over fences and did well, but will need some finishing out.
He retired from the track in 2019 with a left hind DDFT strain and has since been rehabbed and has recovered beautifully
He would be perfect as someone's personal horse, a pony clubbing mount, hunter/ jumper, Fox Hunter, you name it!
We normally wouldn’t call a 6 yr old OTTB beginner friendly, but this boy truely is.
He is a bit of a kick ride and a more whoa than go fella but he moves out well if asked.
He has lovely gaits and and especially collected natural canter.
Trailers perfectly and loaded well for us.
Super easy to catch in the pasture and can be turned out 24/7 or stalled and has no stable vices.
He is a lower in the pack kind of guy and very submissive.
Not a mean bone in his body and has the cutest personality and temperament.
Gentle on the lunge line and carries himself very well
Ties perfectly and is a gentleman to both groom and bath. Not bothered by sprays or brushing at all.
Benefits from a fly sheet in the summer as he has more sensitive TB skin.
He also loves a well ventilated stall in the summer and standing in front of his fan.
Uncomplicated, barefoot and is up to date on coggins, wormer, vaccinations, floating, and farrier.
Rehoming Fee: $4,500
Thoroughbred Bloodlines
Equibase - Race History
Backed by Rowley Ranch's reputation of honesty and transparency.
Safety and suitability are of the utmost importance in placing these horses.
