We rescued Primrose from the run in lot at an auction back in August 2020.
This sweet girl was in rough shape, underweight, and had clearly just had a foal weaned from her and dumped at the auction.
She has blossomed beautifully since then and gained all of her weight back and more!
She started to gain our trust and stands perfectly for being groomed, brushed, and tacked up
She will stand in cross ties or straight tied
Trailers great and is good for wormers and vaccines.
She is a project still right now as she has been ridden before, but we think she has had many years off and needs to be re-started
She is more of a whoa than go kind of girl and is not spooky at all.
We think she would make a fantastic trail and pleasure mare.
She can be difficult to catch and we have kept her in a stall with a run due to having 30 acres that she can run on
She has no stable vices and does great in a stall or small paddock
She is higher ranking in the pasture, but not mean, and makes sure she never misses a meal, possibly due to her past.
She lives out well with Geldings and Mares and is not mareish at all
She has great feet and seems to have always been barefoot. Stands well for her barefoot trims.
No lameness or health issues. She does have a bump on her nose which is due to a
Nasal Erythema which is not related to any underlying diseases or issues and is just a cosmetic imperfection.
She has never tried to do anything remotely mean, no kicking, rearing, bucking, bolting, biting, etc.
She is all up to date on Farrier, Vaccines, Teeth floating, Coggins, and Deworming.
She is a gorgeous girl with a very sweet soul and she would love to be someone's special mare!
