Raider is a once in a lifetime kind of horse and wants to be your next Hunter!
From his striking grey color to his wonderful personality, we know someone will be very lucky to have this boy in their lives
Raider is a Rowley Ranch Graduate who was returned, due to no fault of his own, through our forever home guarantee
He is a big tank of a boy looks like a warmblood and has three even tempo gaits
He has been ridden by beginners on up and by riders as young as 11 years old
Zero spook and stands perfectly to be groomed, bathed, mounted and for the farrier.
He is the same horse no matter what day you ride and no need to lunge him before. Just hop on and go!
Retired from racing sound with clean legs and has had no issues since
He has an old injury to his neck which prevents him from fully flexing at the pole.
Due to this he would do better in a home with a lower headset versus say Dressage.
He can be ridden English or Western and has experience out on trails
He wears front shoes and is up to date on his Coggins, vaccines, deworming, teeth floating and farrier care.
He is not on any supplements or maintenance
No known vices and trailers perfectly
He would make a fantastic Fox Hunting mount as he loves trails and is perfect around dogs
He has a ton of personality and loves to play in the pond, no matter how cold it is
Has never reared, bucked, kicked, bitten, bolted, or even threatened to
Is fine in a stall or out in a pasture with geldings, mares, and ponies, but prefers to be out on pasture
Has wonderful ground manners and always want to be with people
Currently coursing 2' with a beautiful square jump and changes!
He is a point a shoot kind of horse over jumps and would be a great horse for someone to learn to jump on
He is a barn favorite and could go straight into the show ring!
