Romeo
16 Yrs Old

Percheron Draft Cross Gelding
Romeo oh Romeo! What a handsome boy he is!
We believe Romeo is a Percheron Cross and is the sweetest boy.
He loves to follow you around and will do anything for love and treats.
We think he was used as a performance horse in his past life, possibly Dressage, or as a Vaulting horse.
He carries himself beautifully, knows how to lunge, and is very forward for his size.
He can be ridden English, Western, Bareback and is very light on your hands, and has a soft mouth
He LOVES liberty work and enjoys being around people.
Romeo needs a calm and confident leader on the ground and responds really well to positive reinforcement.
Romeo is looking for a pleasure riding home where he can be loved and enjoyed for the rest of his days.
Romeo has arthritis from a strenuous past riding career, so would do best in a low key/pleasure riding home.
He would love being a trail riding horse or going for rides around your pasture.
He is great around horses and dogs and enjoys being ridden with friends.
Romeo needs a calm and patient farrier who understands that he needs to take breaks while being trimmed.
He is a good boy for hoof handling for us and does well with using treats for farrier trims we have found.
Romeo can be kept in a stall or in the pasture and is easy to catch, but would do better with more movement and turnout.
He is on a forage-only diet and eats grass hay and alfalfa only.
He is up to date on wormer, floating, Coggins, and vaccinations, and has the farrier scheduled.
Adoption Fee: $2,500
