Roxy is a gorgeous gaited mare
She has previous experience as trail mount but also does well in an arena
She is easy to catch and walks up to you in the pasture to greet you.
She really enjoys attention from people and is a very people oriented mare
She has a nice running walk, foxtrot and canter.
She has that more forward paced smooth trail walk, which is what people look for in MFT's
She is a bit of a kick ride to get her into a foxtrot and canter in the arena.
We took her out of the arena alone and she was not herd bound at all.
If she is unsure about anything she is the kind to stop and look and then continue on with minimal encouragement.
She has a very gentle mouth and rides well in a snaffle.
She is a smooth well built girl who would be comfy for any man or woman to ride.
Would do best with a calm/ quiet rider who gently encourages her
She is not flighty, spooky, or dangerous in any way at all.
She loads in the trailer great and we had no issues with loading.
She stands well to be groomed, bathed, and tacked, and doesn't mind sprays
Lives out on pasture with geldings, mares, and ponies 24/7 but can also be stalled and has zero vices
She is higher in the rankings in the pasture, but is one that will squeal at the geldings but is not aggressive
She is a very easy keeper and does well barefoot with no grain needed to maintain her weight
She is up to date on wormer, Coggins, vaccinations, and farrier.
