Sassy is such a lovely mare and has a soft spot in our hearts at Rowley Ranch!
She came to us last year as an owner surrender and was 5 months pregnant at the time.
She had her perfect little colt, Charlie in May 2021 and he will stay with us forever here at Rowley Ranch.
He has now been weaned and had 9 wonderful months with his mama and it is time for her to find her forever home.
Miss Sassy is more whoa than go to ride and is a bit of kick ride
She is very safe and not spooky at all.
Great around dogs, traffic, random objects you name it!
She has been mainly ridden as a trail horse in her past life but with some training she could be an arena riding horse as well
She can be ridden English and Western and direct reins.
She has sat for almost two years while she had Charlie and rode off like she never missed a beat.
She is beginner friendly and safe for anyone to ride and does not do anything remotely silly.
She would make a fantastic teacher and would love to go to fun shows and play days with someone.
She is not herd bound and goes out alone just fine.
Stands perfectly in cross ties or straight tied and does not pull back.
She stands to be groomed, sprayed, and tacked
She is also perfect for the farrier and does great barefoot.
She has no signs of lameness or soundness issues and requires no supplements or maintenance.
She loads in the trailer perfectly and is always ready to head out.
She is an easy keeper who does well out in the pasture with geldings and mares 24/7 or can be stalled
She is not "Mareish" at all and is one that has a "silent heat"
She is up to date on wormer, coggins, vaccinations, and barefoot trims.
