Granddaughter of the great Seattle Slew!
She is a lovely sweet mare who reminds us a lot of a previously adopted Seattle Slew Granddaughter
She is very willing, calm, sensible, and could go in many directions training-wise.
She is also out 24/7 in the pasture right now with mares and geldings
She is an easy keeper on grain and hay
She is not mareish at all, is good with her feet being handled, and isn't afraid of sprays or sensitive to grooming
She is currently barefoot and has always been sound since she came off the track.
She raced 21 times and then was a broodmare for 6 years
She loaded up perfectly in the trailer when we brought her over here and ties very well.
We have kept her blanketed this last week and she had no problems and seemed to appreciate that.
She has started her re-training process and has three lovely gaits
She would excel as an event horse, fox hunter, or hunter jumper mare
She has been started over trot poles and we think she would be great in a jumping career.
She is up to date on her vaccines, coggins, teeth, farrier, and wormer.
