Titan
14 Yrs Old
17.2 hh
Percheron Gelding
Titan is such a huge gentle giant of a boy!
He was an Amish work horse in his previous life and used for driving
He is everything everyone looks for in a Draft horse and more
He is calm and quiet, but moves out nicely when asked.
He is easy to catch in the field and is great to give vaccines and wormer to.
He lives out 24/7 with geldings, mares, and mini horses and is very submissive and the middle to lower in the pack
He really appreciates his fly gear in the summer months
He does best in pasture board or with as much turnout as possible
He is improving with his hoof handling and we have been using treat training to work with him on this.
He does very well with positive reinforcement training techniques
He does well on unlimited grass hay and 5 lbs of grain per day
He is an easy keeper and requires no supplements or maintenance.
He is not herd bound and lunges well in a snaffle. He is soft and gentle on the line
He stands to be groomed and doesn't move when you spray him with sprays
He had horse flies land on him and he was a perfect gentleman and didn't fuss at all
He is great around dogs and isn't phased by them
Under saddle he is a very much more whoa than go fella and a kick ride
You can get him into a trot but it takes some encouraging as he prefers to just walk
He can be ridden English and Western and also knows how to drive
Will stand ground tied if you dismount and leave him
He will stand at the mounting block perfectly, until you tell him to go
He is beginner friendly and a very safe boy
He loads and rides in the trailer well. He will stop at a step up, but proceeds to load with minimal encouragement.
He would excel as a trail horse (if you are okay ducking for some branches), as a pleasure horse, or hubby horse.
He is barefoot and is up to date on wormer, coggins, farrier, and vaccinations.
Rehoming Fee: $5,000
Backed by Rowley Ranch's reputation of honesty and transparency.
