Rosie is the sweetest little mare around!
She has been trained as a cutter and has impeccable breeding. .
She has fantastic ground manners and is a pleasure to be around
She can be ridden English or Western and responds off of the lightest aids.
Less is more for Tootsie and she only requires the lightest pressure.
When you lift your hand, she knows to lower her head.
She knows to respond very well to your seat and body position.
She does have an old injury to her tongue, so goes best in a hackamore or sidepull.
She is not spooky at all and is good around cars, dogs and cattle.
She was surrendered to our rescue and hasn’t been ridden in a very long time.
She could use some strength training and building of her muscles again.
She is very gentle on the lunge line and knows voice commands.
She has a petite frame and would be perfect for a child or smaller adult.
Perfect for grooming, bathing, and the farrier
She is not mareish at all, has zero issues with trailer loading, fly spray, and no stable vices
She is a very easy keeper and doesn’t require grain.
She takes a day to settle into a new location and but settles down after she is familiar with her surroundings
Up to date on vaccines, coggins, farrier, and wormer
She is out in a pasture 24/7 with mares, geldings, and ponies and also does well in a stall
Tootsie would make a perfect horse for someone who is willing to work with her and train her some more.
She is so willing and has a ton of potential and we can’t wait to see her flourish in her new home!
