Mississippi Bred Un-raced Thoroughbred Gelding
A.P. Indy and Unbridled Bloodlines!
We can't say enough good things about sweet Tug!
We lovelingly call him Tug as he's the size of a Tug Boat and moves like one too.
He came to us from his breeder who never raced him and he wasn't ever ridden before entering our program.
We have him in professional training and are working on getting him started under saddle.
He has been sweet and kind and does not have a mean bone in his body.
He is the kind of horse you love to start!
We have gotten him to the point of cantering under saddle and he has big movements.
We think he would be great in the western world as a ranch horse, cattle horse, roping, trail horse, you name it.
He can be ridden bitless, bareback, western, English, whichever and whatever way you prefer.
Responds super well to positive reinforcements and gentle pressure.
He is not spooky at all and stands to be mounted, groomed and tacked.
He stands tied and loads in the trailer with ease.
We get him thinking in the round pen before we ride and then hop on, he doesn't act silly or naughty in any way.
He is currently barefoot and shows no signs of needing shoes and stands well for the farrier.
He is one of the easiest keepers and can be kept on pasture, with geldings or mares, and is currently just getting alfalfa hay.
He can also be kept in a stall and has no stall vices.
He is not on any supplements or maintenance and has no history of any lameness or any health issues.
Has never reared, bucked, kicked, bitten, bolted, or even threatened too.
He will need to go to an experienced home that is prepared to continue his education or someone working closely with a trainer.
Tug is just a lovely sweet big boy who would be a fantastic project for someone wanting to take him in any direction.
**Tug has currently only been ridden 4 times in a round pen.
His adopter will need to show enough experience to continue his education or be wiling to put him in a professional training program to do so.
We do not adopt our green horses to inexperienced riders or as suitable for children.**
Adoption fee: $1,500
