Thank you so much for your life saving work of volunteering. Without the help of our community we wouldn't be able to pursue our mission on a larger scale and save more horses. Our rescue facility is located in Nixa, MO and we are always in need of individuals who are dedicated and dependable to lend the horses a helping hand! |
Volunteer Opportunities
Exerciser
This position is perfect for someone who has previous riding experience.
You will be given the opportunity to work with and ride all different breeds, training levels, and types of horses.
A person in this role must be able to groom and tack a horse themselves.
Sometimes exercise consists of ground work, hand walking, liberty work, and/ or riding.
Often will receive lessons, tips, and training from our Executive Director
Trainer
This position is perfect for someone who is wanting to expand their training experience or simply give back to horses with their vast knowledge.
At Rowley Rescue Ranch we use gentle training techniques with an element of liberty training and a less is more approach to horse handling.
If that sounds like a good fit for you and your methodologies, we would love to hear from you.
We receive many horses that are in need of further training to make them adoptable to a wider audience.
Groom
This position is perfect for someone who is just loves to be around the horses and make them look beautiful.
Grooming has so many benefits and this work is so helpful, especially come shedding season!
This role might also include tack cleaning if you would like to assist there also.
This is a great role for our younger volunteers.
Photography and Videography
Photos and videos are crucial in helping our horses find adoptive homes.
This role is perfect for the anyone who has a passion for photography or film and would be willing to share their talents.
These will be used across all of our social media platforms.
