Waffles is the sweetest donkey ever!
we rescued him from a local auction where there were a ton of unhandled donkeys being run through the open horse pen.
Scared and about to be purchased by the kill buyer, we stepped in and saved him.
Since he has been with us he has learnt to be halter trained and lead.
He does well with a butt rope if needed to encourage him forward.
He lets us handle all of his feet and wears a winter blanket.
He is good around dogs and hasn’t tried to go after ours.
He is friendly to kids and can be brushed and fly sprayed.
He is a very easy keeper and has been putting on some good weight while here.
He let us de-worm him easily and just is a super sweet fella!
He has good feet and have no history of lameness or founder.
He is up to date on their vaccines, worming, floating, and farrier care.
He eats grass hay in a slow feed net and is not on any supplements or maintenance.
He has been stabled with a mini horse and colt currently and does well.
Waffles is ready for his new home and to make a family happy as a companion or herd protector!
