10 Yr Old
Indianna Bred OTTB Mare

Her grandfather was the famous Storm Cat!
This beautiful girl is the epitome of sport horse.
She is extremely intelligent and you only have to teach her something once and she understands.
She has a lovely big shoulder and a well put together conformation.
She retired from racing in 2017 when she had a suspensory ligament strain in her right front leg
She was taken off the track, rehabbed, and then didn't want to go back to racing, so came to us.
She does best out in pasture 24/7 with mares and geldings, but also can be stabled
She will mildly crib if stalled 24/7 but it is controlled by a cribbing collar or turn out.
She has great feet and is sound barefoot.
She does not require any maintenance or supplementation.
She was a little wary about trailer loading in a step up trailer without a ramp, but we are working with her on this.
We think she would excel in many disciplines from hunter, to fox hunting or dressage.
We would recommend her for a lower impact home due to her previous strain.
She is not a spooky or flighty horse and processes new things very intelligently
We think she would make a fantastic hunter with her bigger frame and approach to things
She stands well to be groomed, tacked, and seems to enjoy her post workout bath.
She lunges very well for only having just learnt and is very gentle on the lunge line.
She has been lunged over trot poles and took to it right away.
We have re-started her under saddle and we wish every first post track ride was as easy as hers was
She is a bit of a kick ride and takes some encouraging, but has three lovely floaty gaits and picks up her leads well
She is easy to steer and gives well to leg pressure.
She has a beautiful balanced canter and has no issues picking up her correct leads
She improves with every ride and we think learns so quickly
Stood perfectly still for mounting the second time ever being asked.
During her second arena ride ever, we didn't lunge her, it was raining, and there was a lot going on at the ranch and she wasn't fazed at all.
Hasn't put a single foot wrong.
We are really excited about the future for this lovely mare.
She is up to date on coggins, vaccines, worming, dental, and farrier.
